Lord Vishnu is one of the most important and shining deities on the grand canvas of Hinduism. In the epic texts of Hinduism, Mahavishnu has been described as the source of existence, the very beginning of creation. Along with Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma, he is one of three supreme deities in Hinduism, popularly known as Tridev. The texts say that along with his consort, Devi Lakhsmi, Lord Vishnu rests in the middle of Ksheer Sagar (a mythological ocean) on the five-headed serpent, Sheshnag. In his essence, Lord Vishnu represents the divinity of this existence. He is the beginning, the end, and yet beyond both. Though contributing to the affairs of the world, he himself is untouched, resting in his all pervasive solitude. Devi Lakshmi, the Aadi Shakti herself, is there by his side, always, symbolizing the eternal play of duality, the Purusha and Prakriti in this existence.

This statue has beautifully captured the magnificent presence of Lord Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi in the most enchanting way possible. Lord Vishnu, resting under the shade of five heads of Sheshnag is bestowing divine blessings upon his devotees. Devi Lakshmi too, is blessing the devotees with her right hand while caressing the lord's feet with her left hand. Lord Vishnu has been portrayed with four hands, holding his eternal symbols, the Shankh (conch) and Chakra (his weapon), along with a Gada (mace) in his lower hand. Both the deities are seen wearing royal clothes and exquisite pieces of jewelry, signifying their grand stature. Their face is as silent as the depths of the ocean, yet exuberant in its own bliss. This artfully crafted bronze statue is the authentic and faithful portrayal of the divine Hindu deities. Not just a religious sculpture, this statue is an art in itself. Thus, while the statue is ideal for worshipping by the devotees, it equally qualifies for being a part of your art collection
