This is a charming gold colored brass statue of Hanuman Head. He is the greatest devotee who symbolizes courage and compassion. He is known for his greatest physical strength and bravery. Lord Hanuman’s face of a monkey represents the always disturbed and agitated human mind. Just as our mind cannot concentrate and be still on one thing for a long time, similarly, a monkey also cannot focus on one thing for a long duration. He is the only one to remain active in the earth plane till the end of cycle as he was blessed by Sita for this. He is also known as Pavanputra (Son of Vayu), Anjaneya (Son of Anjana) and Bajrangbali (Strong and powerful).
The sight of this statue gives a very realistic view. The shine on his face is astonishing and the Vaishnava tilak on his forehead is highlighting its beauty. His neck is resting on a thin circular bottom. The left eye is slightly looking downwards and the right eye is a bit towards the right. He is wearing an artistic crown like a blooming lotus flower and a three layered temple top moderately tilted towards the back. The awestruck briefings of the crown are magnifying the divinity of head. There is a three layered jewel with pellets in between, forming a border to the crown and giving it a neat and complete look. Forehead is also ornamented with a chain of beads. There are various striations in diagonal way on both sides of the face just before the ears representing his hair. The look of the face is mesmerizing. The crown has small statement patterns of peacock shaped feathers with accurate lines increasing its clarity and appeal. The beauty of the crown and sharpness of the face are complementing each other perfectly.
The sculpture is shown to be having that alert yet caring look on the face as if keeping an eye on the worshippers safety and prosperity.
