It is not as if the Pandavas had no faults. They had. But if the faults gave them their human appeal the achievements gave them their heroic stature. All through their life they faced difficulties and hardship brought on them by fate as well as by the flaws in their character. But they triumphed over them because they had faith in themselves and what is more important, in God.
Valour and courage are the qualities most associated with the Pandavas. But they were also marked by humility and charity without which they could have never won the divine friendship of Krishna.
