About The Author


Maria Denjongpa is an English teacher, writer, and maker of paper mache masks. One of the founding members of Taktse International School in Sikkim, she loves reading aloud to her students during the day, and to her husband at night. She also likes slipping her hands into warm paper mache, and talking to her sons, Pintso and Aka, over Skype.
