About the Author
Neeta Das, a Professor of Architecture, graduated from CEPT, Ahmadabad and did her post-graduate in Architectural History, Theory, and Criticism from DAAP, Cincinnati, USA. Her Doctoral thesis was on 18th and 19th century architectural history in India with special reference to Lucknow. She has written several books and articles both on architectural history and conservation.
